Border Agent Carries Injured Migrant 1,000 Feet up Steep California Mountainside

A San Diego Sector Border Patrol agent rescued an injured female migrant from a steep mountainside in the Otay Mountains.

The migrant was unable to climb to safety after crossing the border illegally.

The rescue was part of 24 migrant rescues during Christmas week, where nearly 7,100 migrants were apprehended. (Trending: Transgender Actor ‘Purposefully Misgendered’ By Airline Employee)

San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Patricia McGurk-Daniel said, “The woman was unable to walk & had to be evacuated to a safe location to go to the hospital.”

San Diego Sector agents have apprehended over 61,000 migrants in the first two months of FY24, marking a significant increase from the previous year.
