Kathleen Wilson is suing Dr. Kevin Molldrem, a dentist in Minnesota, alleging that he performed extensive and shoddy dental work on all 32 of her teeth in a single visit, causing her endless pain, disfigurement, and the need for further dental care.
The lawsuit claims that the dentist used excessive anesthesia and falsified records.

“Katie required a slow, thoughtful, careful and measured response to her disease,” dental expert Dr. Avrum Goldstein said.
“Trying to fill every hole in every tooth in her mouth in one visit is not only the antithesis of what was indicated, it is not humanely possible to achieve in an effective or constructive manner.”
Wilson is seeking damages for disfigurement, embarrassment, and pain and suffering.
“This not only impacts the economics of her dental needs, it impacts the emotional trauma associated with extensive dental treatment,” Goldstein said.
Molldrem has not responded to the civil suit.
