Elon Musk criticized Green Day for changing their stance from “raging against the machine” to supporting it, after the band’s frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, made an anti-Trump remark during a performance.

Armstrong has been openly critical of conservative politicians, comparing Trump to Hitler and expressing strong dislike for him.

Musk’s comments came after Armstrong altered the lyrics of “American Idiot” to reference the “MAGA agenda.” (Trending: Ex-Marine Imprisoned In Russia Sends Message To Biden)

“Green Day goes from raging against the machine to milquetoastedly raging for it,” wrote Musk.

“The worst problem I see about Trump is who his followers are,” said Armstrong.

“I actually feel bad for them because they’re poor, working-class people who can’t get a leg up. They’re just p—– off, and he’s preyed on their anger,” he continued.

“He just said, ‘You have no options, and I’m the only one, and I’m going to take care of it myself.’ I mean, that’s f—— Hitler, man!” added the singer.

Armstrong also reportedly said that he “——- hate[d] Donald Trump so much.”

“I used to scream I hated George Bush,” recalled Armstrong. “This one is a little different. This one is bad, it’s like acid gone bad. ——- LSD and the American right, man,” added the frontman.
