Poll Reveals ‘Most Seen News Stories’ of 2023

In 2023, a Morning Consult poll identified the top news events that were most seen, read, and heard.

The establishment media’s coverage was criticized for ignoring important storylines, leading to public distrust in the media.

Gallup polling revealed that 50% of Americans believe the national media intends to mislead and misinform, while only 26% hold a favorable opinion of the news media. (Trending: Melania Trump Announces Big Change For 2024)

The top stories included events like the Chinese Spy Balloon, the Super Bowl, and various international incidents, with a notable absence of impeachment inquiry findings.

Additionally, the surveys showed that Democrats were more likely than Republicans to report hearing a lot about the news events.
