Eleven Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) leaders were reportedly killed in an airstrike at Damascus International Airport, with the commander of the Revolutionary Guards in eastern Syria being injured.
However, IRGC spokesman Sardar Ramzan Sharif denied these reports as “baseless.”
Syrian media also claimed that Israel had targeted sites in southern Syria and near Damascus with airstrikes.
Iran vowed that Israel would “pay” for the killing of another IRGC commander in a previous airstrike.
