Asa Hutchinson, a seasoned conservative politician, is persisting in his 2024 presidential bid despite polling at less than 1%.
His message of moving away from Trumpism has faced resistance within the Republican base, with minimal support and even getting booed at events.

His determination is evident in his persistent campaigning efforts, including engaging with small groups and enduring public indifference.
“You’re asking me about risk of embarrassment? People have risked their lives for the country,” Hutchinson said when questioned whether his failing run for the presidency might hurt his lasting reputation.
“Am I supposed to worry about whether I’m going to be embarrassed in a contest, politically? I think our country is more important.”
“I don’t want to turn our country or party over to Donald Trump or Joe Biden.”
“That’s what I’m saying, and it actually reflects what the polls say in America.”
Despite suggestions to explore other options, including becoming a commentator or endorsing another candidate, Hutchinson remains resolute in his pursuit, even as his campaign faces challenges and internal disagreements.
