Rep. Rashida Tlaib criticized her colleagues in Congress for meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him a “genocidal maniac.”
She accused those who meet with him of supporting a war criminal and expressed frustration with the U.S. funding and supporting what she called a “genocide and war on children” in Palestine.
Tlaib has been a vocal critic of the Israeli government and has been among the loudest critics following the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas. (Trending: Democrat Targets U.S. Troops With New Gun Control Law)
“Every member of Congress who sits down with this murderer is supporting a war criminal,” Tlaib wrote.
“We will never ever forget.”
“I am so sick and tired of our country funding and supporting a genocide and war on children,” Tlaib added.
“Please don’t stop talking about Palestine.”
“Our objectives are clear: The U.S. must stand by Israel to get all the hostages home, including Americans, eliminate the terrorists, & provide much-needed humanitarian aid to innocent Palestinian civilians being used by Hamas as human shields,” Rep. Josh Gottheimer said following a meeting with Netanyahu.
