Chicago: 30-Year-Old Woman Shot in Head While Driving Day After Christmas

In Chicago, a 30-year-old woman was shot and killed while driving on the day after Christmas.

The incident occurred in the 4800-block of West Thomas Street, with the woman found dead behind the wheel after hitting two other vehicles.

According to ABC 7, a vehicle reportedly crashed, “in the 4800-block of West Thomas Street.”

According to CWB Chicago, the crash happened after a reported robbery, “in an alley behind the 1700 block of West Cortez.”

The city has seen a high number of shootings, with 18 people shot over the first two days of the Christmas weekend alone.

Additionally, a concealed carry permit holder foiled an armed robbery, fatally shooting one of the suspected robbers in an alley behind the 1700 block of West Cortez.
