SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket is set to launch a mysterious US military spacecraft, the X-37B, which will conduct advanced research.
The spacecraft’s activities in space have sparked interest and speculation, with potential research including solar energy transmission and radiation effects on seeds.

Paul Graziani, CEO of COMSPOC, said, “I think it’s one of the most interesting things that’s happened in space in a long time, whatever it’s going to do.”
The mission aims to support experiments for future deep-space missions, including sustaining astronauts and studying plant growth in space.
The launch follows delays and coincides with China’s launch of a secretive spacecraft for similar purposes.
