In 2018, the Republican National Committee (RNC) decided to continue accepting donations from casino mogul Steve Wynn despite sexual misconduct allegations against him.

This decision was met with criticism, leading some, including Republican Senators and the Republican Governors Association, to call for the return of Wynn’s donations.
