The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly signed Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a highly-touted Japanese pitcher, to a 12-year, $325 million deal, making it the largest contract ever given to a pitcher in baseball history.
This deal also surpasses the previous record for the largest deal given to a Japanese import.
The Dodgers’ massive spending spree also included signing Shohei Ohtani to a $700 million pact and acquiring Tyler Glasnow. (Trending: Prominent LGBTQ Activist Arrested Over Disturbing Charges)
