Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger wrote, “I’m genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven’t talked about the odor.”
“It’s truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can,” he wrote on X.
“Adam Kinzinger farted on live TV and is an unemployed fraud,” wrote Trump’s spokesperson in a statement.
“He has disgraced his country and disrespects everyone around him because he is a sad individual who is mad about how his miserable life has turned out,” continued the statement.
This isn’t the first time Trump’s scent has been mentioned, with comedian Kathy Griffin also describing it during a podcast appearance.
“It’s like body odor with kind of like a scented makeup products,” Kathy Griffin recalled.
Adding, “But you can smell the hair products even outdoors.”
