Republican Senator Ted Cruz made a joke about President Joe Biden’s alleged need for extra pants due to potential accidents during travel.

Cruz’s choice of humor, while not new in politics, reflects a broader criticism of Biden’s fitness for office.

“Listen, we have a president of the United States [whose] team carries extra pairs of pants with him when he travels in case he has poopy pants,” Cruz said. (Trending: Assault Weapons Ban Set To Take Effect, Here’s What To Know)

“Big and stinky if true,” commentator Collin Rugg wrote.

“I want you to pause and think how the enemies of America are feeling,” Cruz added.

“Eh, depends.”

The joke quickly gained traction online due to concerns about Biden’s mental and physical decline, with some suggesting it reflects an unfortunate reality.

“I wish I could say this sounds ridiculous, but it doesn’t,” an X user posted.

Broader criticisms of Biden’s leadership, particularly regarding immigration policies, have plagued his campaign throughout 2023.
