Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has gained significant support in New Hampshire, doubling her backing to 30 percent since September.

Despite this, former President Donald Trump maintains a substantial lead with 44 percent support.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu’s endorsement has boosted Haley’s standing, positioning her as the main alternative to Trump. (Trending: Prominent LGBTQ Activist Arrested Over Disturbing Charges)

However, Trump’s support remains steady in the mid-40s, and his backers seem unfazed by his legal challenges.

The survey, conducted among 1,711 likely New Hampshire voters, also reveals that former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie holds 12 percent support, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has dropped to six percent.

Additionally, Haley claims that Trump is becoming “nervous,” citing an attack ad from the pro-Trump Super PAC MAGA Inc.

“After earning the key endorsement of New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, former Ambassador Nikki Haley has broken away from the pack pursuing former President Donald Trump and become the clear alternative,” New Hampshire Institute of Politics Executive Director Neil Levesque said in a statement.

“However, even after cutting Trump’s lead in half, she still trails, as his support remains steady in the mid-40’s. Trump’s supporters seem undeterred by the former president’s ongoing legal challenges,” he added.
