Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has stated that he will not follow another candidate’s lead in withdrawing his name from the Colorado ballot in protest of former President Trump’s exclusion.

DeSantis believes the Supreme Court will overturn the decision, and he plans to continue competing in all states.

When asked if he would follow Vivek Ramaswamy’s decision, DeSantis said, “No, I think that’s just playing into the left.” (Trending: Prominent LGBTQ Activist Arrested Over Disturbing Charges)

“I think the case will get overturned by the Supreme Court, but I’ve qualified for all the ballots, I’m competing in all the states, and I’m going to accumulate the delegates necessary.”

“That’s the whole name of the game in this situation, but I do anticipate that decision was political and will get reversed.”

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Trump ineligible to run for president due to his alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021 insurrection, but the ruling will be stayed until January 4, 2024, allowing Trump to request a review by the US Supreme Court.

If a review is requested, his name will likely appear on the ballot.
