The Colorado Supreme Court disqualified Donald Trump from the 2024 Presidential Election, citing his involvement in the January 6th, 2021 insurrection.

Trump expressed dismay on Truth Social, calling it a “sad day in America” and accused Biden of orchestrating “fake political indictments.”

The Trump campaign criticized the decision, alleging interference and vowing to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. (Trending: Assault Weapons Ban Set To Take Effect, Here’s What To Know)

They believe the ruling undermines democracy.

“Biden should drop all of these fake political indictments against me, both criminal & civil. Every case I am fighting is the work of the DOJ & White House. NO such thing has ever happened in our country before. Banana Republic??? Election interference!!!” Trump posted.

“What a shame for our Country!!!” He added.

“Unsurprisingly, the all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump, supporting a Soros-funded, left-wing group’s scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump’s name from the ballot and eliminating the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice,” Trump Campaign Spokesman Steven Cheung said.

“Democrat Party leaders are in a state of paranoia over the growing, dominant lead President Trump has amassed in the polls.”

“They have lost faith in the failed Biden presidency and are now doing everything they can to stop the American voters from throwing them out of office next November.”

“We will swiftly file an appeal to the United States Supreme Court and a concurrent request for a stay of this deeply undemocratic decision.”

“We have full confidence that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits.”

“This country is a powder keg and this court is just throwing matches at it…for people that say they are trying to protect democracy, this is hands down the most anti-democratic opinion I’ve seen in my lifetime,” George Washington University’s Jonathan Turley said.
