Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) is leading legislation to reverse President Biden’s requirement for banks and creditors to offer loans to illegal aliens.
The Department of Justice and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued a joint statement suggesting potential legal action against banks for denying loans to illegal aliens.
Ogles’s legislation, with 12 cosponsors, aims to clarify that banks can consider immigration status when deciding on loans. (Trending: FBI Bribery Probe Caught Joe Biden’s Brother On Tape)
He criticizes Biden’s administration for imposing regulations and defends the right of banks to know the recipients of their money.
“Joe Biden’s administration has no problem throwing red tape over American essentials like guns, water heaters, and gas stoves, but when it comes to protecting American credit lenders, he is nowhere to be found,” Ogles said.
The legislation has garnered support from multiple representatives.
Additionally, since Biden took office, estimates suggest his administration has welcomed a significant number of illegal aliens at the U.S.-Mexico border, raising concerns about the impact of this influx.
