The 2024 campaign of former President Donald Trump anticipates winning the GOP nomination by March, projecting a lead in polls and aiming to secure 1,478 delegates by the Republican National Convention.
Trump holds a significant lead in the Republican primary, with polls indicating strong support.
“Trump holds a commanding lead in the Republican primary ahead of the 2024 White House race. A Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll completed last week showed 61% of self-identified Republicans said they would vote for the former president in the primary,” Reuters reported. Additionally, Trump is leading over President Joe Biden in various surveys, particularly in swing states.
“Trump leads by three percent in Arizona, by seven points in Georgia, by four points in Michigan, by five points in Nevada, by 11 points in North Carolina, by a single point in Pennsylvania, and by six points in Wisconsin,” the UK’s Independent wrote.
Meanwhile, the term “Bidenomics” has not gained traction among Democrats, and Republicans are attempting to associate it with economic challenges, as many voters blame Biden for inflation and rising prices.
“The lone battleground Democrat who has used the term ‘Bidenomics’ is Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, who used a graphic on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the words ‘Bidenomics works,’ when noting monthly job growth figures,” NBC News stated.
