A witness in front of the House Oversight Committee alleged that President Joe Biden’s family member, James Biden, bilked her company out of $600,000, a third of which was forwarded to the president.
James Biden promised to use his family name to bring in new business for the company but failed to deliver.

Carol Fox, a trustee for the now-bankrupt hospital operator Americore, revealed in her testimony that Joe Biden’s younger brother, James promised to leverage his family name to “open doors” and make “political connections” to benefit the her company.
According to Fox and a lawsuit previously filed by Americore, James Biden given an advance loan of $600,000 to connect the Americaore’s executives with Middle Eastern investors.
The meetings did not happen, but Fox claimed that James Biden made “representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’ and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”
James Biden and his wife Sara reportedly received the first paymnent of $200,000 in March of 2018.
James Biden transferred $200,000 to his brother Joe Biden as a “loan repayment” on the same day.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said, “Some immediate questions President Biden must answer for the American people: Does he have documents proving he lent such a large sum of money to his brother and what were the terms of such financial arrangement?”
“Did he have similar financial arrangements with other family members that led them to make similar large payments to him?” he continued.
Even if the $200,000 sum was a “a personal loan repayment, it’s still troubling that Joe Biden’s ability to be paid back by his brother depended on the success of his family’s shady financial dealings,” explained Rep. Comer.
According to Fox News, Carol Fox was not aware of Joe Biden’s involvement and was reportedly satisfied with the $350,000 settlement that she was awarded.
House Republicans have issued a subpoena to James Biden to explain a $40,000 repayment to the president, originating from overseas money earned by Hunter Biden.
Hunter Biden unlawfully defied a similar subpoena and criticized Republican congressmen. Additionally, President Biden’s daughter was found to owe back taxes.
