Four liberal Colorado Supreme Court justices, including three Ivy League graduates and the first Latina and openly gay woman to serve on the court, made a landmark ruling to disallow former President Donald Trump from appearing on the 2024 presidential ballot in the state.
This decision, based on the Fourteenth Amendment, marks the first time this section has been used to ban a presidential candidate.
The justices, Richard L. Gabriel, Melissa Hart, Monica Márquez, and William W. Hood III, each have unique backgrounds and experiences, and have faced various accusations and investigations throughout their careers. (Trending: Bud Light Gets Bad News Ahead of Christmas)
