Former President Donald Trump is leading President Biden among young voters by a 13-point margin in a five-way race, according to the latest Fox News Poll.
The poll indicates that Trump is gaining ground in the Republican presidential nomination contest.
The results also show that Trump is more popular among women voters at 41% to 34% for Biden. (Trending: FBI Bribery Probe Caught Joe Biden’s Brother On Tape)
According to the poll, 41% of respondents under 30 said they’d vote for Trump in the 2024 general election while 28% said they’d vote for Biden, 14% said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., 7% for Jill Stein, and 5% for Cornel West.
Posed with the same question, 41% of respondents under 45 years old said they favored Trump.
31% of that group said they would vote for Biden.
Support for Trump is reportedly steady at 69% at this point, just before the primary begins.
“That’s up seven points since November and 26 points since February,” noted the outlet.
The Fox News Poll recorded results from a hypothetical general election matchup against Biden.
Haley finished ahead of Biden by 6 points and Trump finished ahead of Biden by 4 points (both advantages are statistically insignificant).
DeSantis and Biden finished neck and neck.
All results reflect a drop in popularity for Biden since August.
The polling results come as the Trump campaign is targeting young voters and widening its support among GOP voters.
