Three Israeli hostages were mistakenly killed by the IDF in Gaza, leading to grief and anger from the father of one of the victims.

There is pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to engage in further hostage negotiations with Hamas, as over 100 hostages are believed to still be in their custody.

The Israeli government faces criticism for its handling of the situation, with calls to prioritize the hostages’ well-being. (Trending: Assault Weapons Ban Set To Take Effect, Here’s What To Know)

The father of one of the three Israeli hostages mistakenly killed by the IDF in Gaza grieved and lashed out at Israel’s leaders on Tuesday.

Avi Shamriz said, “I’m going to say this [to] the government. You murdered my son twice.”

“You let Hamas take my son on Oct. 7, and you killed my son on Dec. 14,” continued the heartbroken father.

“They are not thinking about the hostages,” said Shamriz.

“They are not thinking about us. They are thinking only of themselves,” he proclaimed.

The war against Hamas is expected to continue for several more months, despite international efforts to urge Israel to scale back its military operations.
