A recent Harvard Caps/Harris poll indicates that a majority of Democrat voters, along with independents, support the prosecution of Hunter Biden by the Justice Department if he is held in contempt of Congress.
If convicted, Hunter could face a $100,000 fine and imprisonment.

The poll also revealed that Hunter Biden holds a negative 41-point approval rating, with 21% favorable and 61% unfavorable.
Contempt of Congress proceedings were initiated against Hunter by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan after he failed to appear for a subpoenaed closed-door deposition.
“We will not provide special treatment because his last name is Biden,” Chairmen Comer and Jordan wrote in a joint statement.
“As our committees were today prepared to depose Hunter Biden, he chose to make a public statement on Capitol Hill instead where he said his father, Joe Biden was not financially involved in his family’s business dealings,” charged the lawmakers.
The investigation into the Biden family’s financial dealings has revealed payments to Joe Biden and other family members from foreign business ventures.
