Elon Musk, speaking at a political gathering in Italy, emphasized the importance of not demonizing oil and gas in the medium term but also stressed the need to reduce carbon emissions for the long-term preservation of the planet.

He expressed concerns about the environmental movement causing people to lose faith in the future and called for industries to reduce carbon emissions.

“Climate change alarm is exaggerated in the short term,” Musk said. (Trending: Devastating News For Hunter Biden After Defying Subpoena)

“We should not demonize oil and gas in the medium term,” he added

Additionally, he highlighted worries about Italy’s declining birth rate and urged the government to create incentives for families to have more children.

“I think Italy is a great place to invest, but I do want to emphasize that I worry about a low birth rate. If the workforce declines then who will work in the country?” he said.

Italy has allocated funds to address its demographic crisis.

Musk also downplayed concerns about a decline in advertising on a social media platform.
