Additionally, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad rejected any deal with Israel that did not involve a complete and permanent ceasefire, indicating Israel’s acceptance of their existence.
The hostages were identified as Amiram Cooper, Chaim Peri, and Yoram Metzger, all from Kibbutz Nir Oz.
