Megyn Kelly criticized CNN host Abby Phillip for interrupting 2024 GOP presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy during a townhall-style event.

Ramaswamy was discussing the presence of federal agents during the Jan. 6, 2021 events, which was disputed by Phillip.

However, The New York Times reported the presence of at least one FBI informant in the crowd. (Trending: Devastating News For Hunter Biden After Defying Subpoena)

Ramaswamy expressed concerns about government misinformation and lies, but Phillip repeatedly interrupted him, claiming there was no evidence of federal agents.

Kelly and other podcast hosts criticized the interruptions, emphasizing the importance of letting the candidate speak and then fact-checking.

“That Abby Philip is annoying,” Kelly said.

“She is such an interrupter. Like, shut the eff up. Let him make his point. If you want to fact-check him later, then [do it]. Shut up, though.”

“CNN has got an aversion to letting the words come out of the candidates’ mouths, and it’s really a disservice even if you don’t agree with what he’s saying.”

“Yeah, you invited him! Let him say it! Then do your fact check.”

“The more she’s [Abby Phillip] trying to censor what he’s saying. I’m like, what’s he saying? Why is she so averse to it? Like his words are so vile, they cannot be uttered.”

“They can be uttered, Abby. Let him finish. You invited him there. Let him make his damn point. And if you watch the whole clip, it’s not like he was going on forever. Like, it was a reasonable amount of time he took to set up his point. Just f–king let him make it,” Kelly said.

“I want to tell you guys where I’m at,” Ramaswamy said.

“If you had told me — it’s close to three years ago that January 6, 2021 happened. If you told me back when I was a biotech CEO, not steeped in this world. I was consuming passive media but was focused on my world of developing medicines.”

“If you told me January 6th was in any way an inside job, the subject of government entrapment, I would have told you that was crazy talk. Fringe conspiracy theory nonsense,” he said.

“I can tell you, having gone somewhat deep in this, it’s not,” Ramaswamy added.

“The reality is this. We do have a government that we have knowledge of that has lied to us systematically over the last several years about the origin of COVID-19, about the Hunter Biden laptop we were told was false by 51 CIA experts and otherwise before we now know it was true.”

“You can go straight down the list, the Trump-Russia disinformation collusion hoax. All of it. Now we come to January 6th. The reality is we know that there were federal law enforcement agents in the field. We don’t know how many,” he said when Phillip interjected.

“I’m going to go ahead and interrupt you here,” she said.

“Because the establishment doesn’t approve of this message?” Ramaswamy shot back.

“You are saying there were federal agents,” Phillip said.

“This is important to talk about,” Ramaswamy said, to which he received applause.

“There is no evidence that there were federal agents in the crowd on January 6th,” Phillip said.
