A gang of armed robbers has been targeting convenience stores in San Diego, with at least 10 robberies believed to be committed by the same group.
The suspects, described as young men wearing masks and brandishing guns, have not caused any injuries so far.

According to San Diego 7, “San Diego Police said that over the past six weeks, several armed ‘take-over style’ robberies have occurred around the county.”
“Police believe that at least 10 of those robberies are committed by the same group and say the same group may be responsible for other robberies.,” added the outlet.
“Police describe the suspects as young men, possibly between 19-25 years old, wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks,” continued the report.
Warning consumers the robbers “enter the stores in groups brandishing guns at store clerks while demanding money and products.”
Since 2022, San Diego has reportedly experienced an 11% increase in violent crime, 13.6% increase in property crime, and a 13.1% increase in overall crime.
Critics have attributed to the crime problem to the lack of accountability for criminals and suggested that voting for officials who prioritize law enforcement can address the issue.
