Actor Andre Braugher passed away from lung cancer. He was diagnosed just months before his death. Braugher was known for his roles in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Homicide: Life on the Street,” and received multiple award nominations and wins.
NBC Entertainment released a statement praising his talent. Braugher was a private individual and is survived by his wife, three children, mother, and brother.
His publicist suggested honoring him through donations to the Classical Theatre of Harlem, where he served on the board of directors. (Trending: Ousted Democrat Who Filmed Explicit Tape Blames Homophobia)
