The United States Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal on former President Donald Trump’s claim of presidential immunity, which has been celebrated by the Trump team.
The Supreme Court’s decision imposes a stay order on the proceedings against Trump, but does not lift the gag order or release existing subpoenas.

“The Constitution should not be suspended in a baseless prosecution against the leading candidate for President,” he added.
