Senator Rand Paul made claims about Dr. Anthony Fauci’s involvement with the CIA and his influence on the COVID-19 origins narrative.
Paul accused Fauci of orchestrating a cover-up regarding the virus’s origins and questioned Fauci’s visits to the CIA and their potential influence on the pandemic narrative.
Additionally, Paul accused Fauci of lying about funding a lab in Wuhan, China, and bypassing safety committees. (Trending: Kid Rock Rages Against ‘Woke’ Target)
“He [Dr. Fauci] convinced them [scientists] in public to say the opposite,” said Sen. Paul.
“He commissioned and edited a paper that said that absolutely this did not come from a lab, while privately all of these same scientists were saying in all likelihood it did come from a lab,” he continued.
“So there really was an orchestrated cover-up on this,” alleged the senator.
“We also now know that he [Dr. Fauci] was visiting the CIA scientists, seven of them, voted 6 to 1 to say it came from the lab, and then they were reversed by superiors,” revealed Sen. Paul.
“We need to know whether Anthony Fauci influenced the superiors, or perhaps the opposite.”
“Did the CIA influence Anthony Fauci?” asked Paul.
“From the very beginning, Anthony Fauci knew he was involved with funding this lab, and he did everything possible. It’s throughout our government. Eight different agencies in our government are covering up their support for this lab in Wuhan,” said Sen. Paul.
“We have evidence, yes, that they were dishonest, that Anthony Fauci lied in hearings to me, which is a felony, punishable up to five years, explained Paul We now have emails that show him saying that he knew it was gain of function, that the virus looked manipulated, and that he was worried that this came from the Wuhan lab,” Sen. Paul said.
Paul concluded by stating that these revelations would eventually bring down Fauci.
“We also know that there was a safety committee that should have reviewed this. And we know that Anthony Fauci went around the safety committee. The safety committee set up in place to make sure this wouldn’t happen never saw the Wuhan funding because Anthony Fauci allowed the funding to go around the safety committee.”
Concluding, “This is a bombshell revelation and this will eventually bring down Anthony Fauci.”
He also referenced emails and interactions with Fauci and virologists that suggested the virus had been manipulated in a lab.
“This is when they’re just beginning to look into the pandemic. And in that email, he basically says, ‘Yes, we’re suspicious that this could be a manipulated virus because it came from a lab in Wuhan, where they do gain of function research,’ and he describes the research,” revealed Sen. Paul to reporters.
Sen. Paul claimed an “exchange of emails between Anthony Fauci and half a dozen prominent international virologists, and these emails go back and forth…These virologists from around the world are saying, they’re looking at the genetic sequence of COVID-19, and they find that there are some striking, strikingly unusual characteristics of it that make it look like it’s been manipulated in the lab.”
In an email “obtained through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)” and threatening subpoenas, Dr. Fauci “describes the worry among all these virologists, himself included — he’s not a virologist, but he also has worries and is worried that it looks like it’s been manipulated,” said Sen. Paul.
