Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich criticizes John Kerry’s call to end all coal-powered electricity generation, labeling it as “silly” and “self-destructive.”

Gingrich questioned Kerry’s mental state and highlights Kerry’s plea at the UN Climate Change Conference to end all coal burning power plant construction worldwide as lacking reason.

He also pointed out that Kerry’s stance, as a representative of the United States, is troubling. (Trending: Here Are The Most Disturbing Ways Hunter Biden Spent His Millions)

Gingrich insisted that it is “not hyperbole or exaggeration” to call John Kerry “crazy.”

Gingrich was reacting to Kerry’s “emotional speech” at the United Nations Climate Change Conference where he reportedly vowed to “end all coal burning power plant construction in the entire world.”

“I am becoming more and more militant about this because we are not getting where we need to be,” added Kerry.

Gingrich criticized Kerry because he is acting “not merely as a private citizen climate extremist,” but as a government official acting on behalf of the U.S..

“Kerry’s battle cry is silly, self-destructive, and makes the United States look delusional,” charged Gingrich.

“Other countries expanding their coal-based electric generation include Indonesia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Laos,” Gingrich added.

“Of course, it makes sense for a cognitively challenged President Joe Biden to have a crazy climate ‘czar’ in his administration,” Gingrich concluded.

Gingrich contraste Kerry’s position with that of Conference President Sultan Al-Jaber, who noted that there was “no science” behind calls to phase out fossil fuels.

Additionally, Gingrich criticized President Joe Biden’s appointment of Kerry as the climate envoy and emphasized the need for new leadership.
