Climate activists in Germany, part of the ‘Last Generation’ group, coordinated attacks on public Christmas trees in several cities, spraying them with orange paint to draw attention to the climate crisis.

The group justified their actions as a way to highlight the urgent need for government action.

This is not the first time the Last Generation has used controversial tactics to spread their message, including previous attempts to disrupt public events and block critical infrastructure. (Trending: Democrat Excludes White People From Holiday Party In Controversial Email)

The group reportedly vandalized Christmas trees with paint in the cities of Keil, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, Rostock, and Oldenburg.

The also group has faced criticism and police investigations for their actions, including attacks on an oil refinery.

Last Generation wrote on X, “Amidst the flashing lights, shiny jewellery and festive atmosphere, it’s easy to forget: We’re racing full speed towards catastrophe and our governments are failing miserably to pull the emergency brake in Dubai.”

The group has faced criticism for their extreme methods, including causing delays to emergency services and vandalizing artwork.

The police have investigated them as a potential criminal organization due to previous disruptive activities.
