President Joe Biden promised an additional $200 million in U.S. taxpayer aid to Ukraine during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

After facing questions from reporters, Biden informed them about the aid and emphasized its swift delivery.

The aid includes various military equipment and ammunition. (Trending: Joe Biden Impeachment Formalized As Republicans Unite)

Additionally, House Speaker Mike Johnson is determined to tie aid for Ukraine to a commitment from Biden to strengthen U.S. border security.

“Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!”, exclaimed Biden.

“Hush up a second, OK?”, he demanded.

“I got one more thing to say,” said Biden.

“I just signed another $200 million draw down from the Department of Defense for Ukraine,” proclaimed the president.

“That will be coming quickly. Thank you!” said Biden to Zelenskyy.

Biden is not a stranger to the political side of war.

While Biden served as Vice President, Obama managed two inherited wars and participated in at least five others across the planet.

According to Fox News, “An official said Biden’s promise of an additional $200 million to Ukraine will be taken from Pentagon stockpiles and include additional ammunition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), high-speed anti-radiation missiles, anti-armor systems, artillery rounds, missiles, demolition munitions, four million rounds of small arms ammunition, generators and other equipment and spare parts.”

“Holding Ukraine funding hostage in an attempt to force through an extreme, Republican, partisan agenda is not how it works,” complained Biden, according to The New York Times.

Adding, “We need real solutions.”

“Putin is banking on the United States failing to deliver for Ukraine,” claimed Biden.

During the news conference, Zelenskyy said Russia has “failed thus far in wiping Ukraine from the map” and indicated he is aware Ukraine must demonstrate battlefield success.

Biden reportedly said his conversations with GOP leadership was “more than positive, but we know we need to separate words from results.”

Johnson criticized the Biden administration for lacking a clear strategy for Ukraine and emphasized the need for oversight and a clear plan.

“I have asked the White House since the day that I was handed the gavel as speaker for clarity,” said Speaker Johnson after the meeting.

“We need a clear articulation of the strategy to allow Ukraine to win,” he continued.

Adding, “And thus far their responses have been insufficient.

“What the Biden administration seems to be asking for is billions of additional dollars with no appropriate oversight or clear strategy to win and none of the answers that I think the American people are owed,” explained Johnson.

“I have also been very clear from day one, that our first condition on any national security supplemental spending package is about our own national security first,” proclaimed the Speaker.

“In the last three months – October, November, December alone – we’ve had more illegal crossings at the border than in any entire year of the Obama administration,” wrote Johnson in an earlier statement.

Highlighting, “The American people see this. They feel it acutely.”

Republicans are pushing for Ukraine to negotiate with Moscow to end the war and are questioning the effectiveness of sending more aid.

Sen. J.D. Vance said this week, “On the Ukraine question, in particular, everybody knows, everybody with a brain in their head, Jake, knows that this was always going to end in negotiation.”

Biden has requested an additional $61 billion in aid for Ukraine.
