Nicol Harness, an Amazon store owner, faced a $250,000 lawsuit from Luke Combs for selling counterfeit merchandise.
Due to hospitalization, she missed the notification and subsequently lost the case.
Harness, who suffers from congestive heart failure, expressed her distress over the situation and her inability to pay bills. (Trending: Here Are The Most Disturbing Ways Hunter Biden Spent His Millions)
“It’s very stressful,” said Harness.
“I don’t have money to pay my bills,” she continued.
Adding, “I just want this resolved — I didn’t mean any harm to Luke Combs.”
“I quit selling the tumbler. I pulled it down,” said Harness in her video.
“Frankly, to find out that in Illinois they are now allowing email service, this may be the test case for why that shouldn’t happen,” commented Combs’ attorney.
“I certainly encourage her to communicate with the court and tell her side of the story,” he advised.
“I would tell him I’m sorry, like I said I didn’t mean any harm. I’m a supporter of Luke Combs,” said Harness in her apology video.
“I respect him. This is not something I meant to go wrong like this.”
“I just want to get back to my day to day life,” pleaded Harness.
Luke Combs later dropped the lawsuit, spoke with Harness, and decided to send her a check for $11,000, creating a tumbler to support her financially.
