Top U.S. Newspaper Says Biden Is At ‘Weakest Point’ Of Presidency

Former President Donald Trump has gained a lead over President Joe Biden in a recent Wall Street Journal poll, with 47% support compared to Biden’s 43%.

The survey shows a decrease in Biden’s support among his 2020 voters, while undecided voters lean Democratic.

According to The Wall Street Journal, “voters who are undecided on the presidential race lean Democratic in other survey questions, suggesting that they could be persuaded to back Biden nearly a year from now.”

TIPP Poll:
• Approve: 33% [-6]
• Disapprove: 55% [+3]

Independents:
• Approve: 21% [-3]
• Disapprove: 64% [+4]

“Biden also sees dismal ratings on the economy, as 55 percent, overall, view the economy as poor or failing. Most independents, 63 percent, feel the same way,” wrote Breitbart.

“Another 56 percent overall view Biden’s handling of immigration and border security as poor or failing, and 54 percent are unhappy with his handling of crime. That includes a majority of independents as well,” highlighted the outlet..

The Wall Street Journal reported that, “Biden’s political standing is at its weakest point of his presidency, a new Wall Street Journal poll finds, with voters giving him his lowest job-performance marks and favoring Donald Trump for the first time in a head-to-head test of the likely 2024 presidential matchup.”

The survey also indicates that only 23% of voters believe Biden’s policies have benefited them, while 53% feel adversely affected.

Trump’s victory margin increases to 6 points in a three-way race.

The polls reveal widespread dissatisfaction with Biden’s economic and immigration policies, with a record-high 61% viewing him unfavorably.

The survey also highlights potential swing voters within Biden’s 2020 coalition.

New Hampshire resident and business owner Aimee Kozlowski, 53, said, “Things were thriving under Trump. This country is a business and it needs to be run by a businessman.”
