Pope Francis emphasized the importance of immigrants in addressing Italy’s declining population, urging Italians to welcome migrants as their own children.

He expressed concern over Italy’s low birthrate and stressed the responsibility of Italians to have children while also welcoming migrants.

The Pope highlighted the challenging task of caring for migrants, emphasizing the need to treat them as individuals and ensure their integration into the local community. (Trending: Here Are The Most Disturbing Ways Hunter Biden Spent His Millions)

“Immigrants help when they fit in well,” said Pope Francis.

“Italy is a land where there is a lack of children, and migrants come,” he continued.

“Puppies taking the place of children: think about this,” the pope urged, after lamenting over Italians “not having” children.

The pope insisted that Italians have the “responsibility” to have children.

This order was extended for Italians to welcome immigrants as “sons and daughters”.

Pope Francis acknowledged that taking care of immigrants in difficult “because it entrusts to your care wounded people, vulnerable people, often lost and returning from terrible traumas.”

“They are faces, not numbers,” he continued, “people who cannot simply be classified, but who should be embraced, brothers and sisters who need to be rescued from the tentacles of criminal organizations, which are capable of speculating mercilessly on their misfortunes.”

“We have to be careful,” warned Pope Francis.

He also raised awareness about the mistreatment of migrants in North Africa and emphasized the dangers of not integrating them properly.

“Migrants must be received, accompanied, promoted and integrated,” encouraged the Pope.

“If this does not happen, there is danger. If there is no such path to integration, there is danger,” he warned.
