A Kentucky family discovered an owl living in their Christmas tree after it had been there for four days.
The owl went unnoticed due to blending in with the tree’s branches, and was found by a worker servicing the home.

“We use this room nonstop: watch TV; the kitchen’s right here; no indication.”
“Every year. Love it,” White said of purchasing a real tree.
“We pick it out as a family.”
“It crawled up into the tree further,” carpet cleaner Bobby Hayes said.
“It took me several minutes to even find it.”
“I was shocked. I was so stunned,” White recalled of receiving a photo from Hayes.
“I thought he’d put a stuffed animal or an ornament in it, so I called him immediately, like, ‘You’re kidding me, right?'” White said.
The owl was safely removed and released back into the wild.
