President Biden expressed concerns about Israel’s waning international support due to the Gaza war, highlighting a growing divide with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

While the U.S. had previously backed Israel, Biden criticized Netanyahu’s handling of the conflict and emphasized the need for protecting civilians in Gaza.

The tension between the two leaders comes as the U.S. seeks to provide additional aid to Israel’s military campaign, amid political disputes. (Trending: Here Are The Most Disturbing Ways Hunter Biden Spent His Millions)

Biden described Netanyahu as leading “the most conservative government in Israel’s history.”

He also admitted that Israel does not “want anything remotely approaching a two-state solution” to their conflict with Palestinians.

Biden also acknowledged that Israel initially had the support of the international community, but now “they’re starting to lose that support by the indiscriminate bombing that takes place.”

“There is disagreement about ‘the day after Hamas,’” affirmed Netanyahu.

“After the great sacrifice of our civilians and our soldiers, I will not allow the entry into Gaza of those who educate for terrorism, support terrorism and finance terrorism,” Netanyahu said.

“Gaza will be neither Hamastan nor Fatahstan,” promised the Prime Minister.

Despite the criticism, Biden said “we’re not going to do a damn thing other than protect Israel in the process. Not a single thing.”

He added, “Without Israel as a free-standing state, not a Jew in the world is safe.”

Netanyahu reportedly privately argued with Biden that the U.S. “carpet-bombed” Germany and had dropped multiple atomic bombs on Japan.

“I said, ‘Yeah, that’s why all these institutions were set up after World War II, to see to it that it didn’t happen again,’” said Biden about their conversation.

Additionally, the U.S. is investigating reports of Israel’s use of white phosphorus, raising further potential disagreements.
