President Joe Biden criticized Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a private fundraiser in Washington, DC, accusing Israel of “indiscriminate bombing” in Gaza and calling for a change in Netanyahu’s hardline government.

This came after Biden had expressed admiration for Israel at a White House Hanukkah party.

Biden’s comments reflect a shift in his stance, as he had previously praised Netanyahu and Israel. (Trending: Hunter Biden’s Own Memoir Is Coming Back To Haunt Him In Criminal Trial)

“This is the most conservative government in Israel’s history,” Biden said.

The Israeli government has defended its actions, stating that it targets carefully in Gaza and has provided the U.S. with proof.

Netanyahu’s government includes the center-left Blue and White Party, and he opposes U.S. calls for a Palestinian state.

“Netanyahu has publicly opposed the U.S. insistence that Palestinians be rewarded with a state after the October 7 terror attack, and has also opposed the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza. His government is said to be drafting an alternative plan,” the report noted.
