“It’s such a basic thing we all do, yet I never once actually thought about it,” said Alexandra Lee.
“There’s definitely no ‘right’ way to shower but for some reason, we were both so surprised anyone would willingly choose to shower the other way,” she continued.
“[It’s] definitely silly, but TikTok always surprises me,” she added.
“You never know what will resonate with people, and it’s fun to post your random thoughts and find out so many other people feel similarly,” explained the influencer.
“When I shower, the shower head is behind me so the water is on my hair and down my back,” Lee said in her original video.
Lee said she does “turn around occasionally,” but she’s “primarily facing the shower head.”
The debate gained attention, showcasing the unexpected nature of TikTok discussions.
“No because voluntarily getting waterboarded doesn’t sound fun at all,” highlighted one follower.
“Facing the water is unhinged,” charged another follower.
A third follower offered, “I face the water the whole time other than washing my hair lol.”
“I constantly move around like a rotisserie chicken! Equal time on both sides,” announced a third group of followers.
