Piers Morgan challenged a British NHS doctor, Dr. Wahid Asif Shaida, for referring to the October 7th attack by Hamas as “an act of resistance” and not terrorism.
In a clip from his show, Morgan vehemently questioned the doctor’s stance, highlighting the brutality of the attack and the doctor’s use of the term “resistance.”
Despite Shaida’s attempt to justify the attack as resistance to occupation, Morgan strongly disagreed, repeatedly calling it “b——-” and emphasizing that the attack was an act of terrorism. (Trending: Hunter Biden’s Own Memoir Is Coming Back To Haunt Him In Criminal Trial)
“How can you categorize a terror attack — in which 1,200 mostly innocent civilian people were brutally attacked, raped, tortured, beheaded, and murdered,” began Morgan.
“How can you, a British NHS doctor, an NHS doctor in Britain, how can you say that’s a ‘welcome punch on the nose’?” asked the host.
“I will be frank, I’ll be as concise as I can be,” Shaida answered.
Adding, “But if you give me the courtesy of letting me answer fully.”
“I will defend the right of the Palestinians to resist an occupation. When you look at that —” he started.
“That’s not resistance, that’s terrorism!” Morgan interjected.
“You can be deeply sympathetic to the plight of Palestinian civilians, which I am by the way and have expressed many times,” Morgan explained.
“What you can’t do is be weaselly-mouthed about what happened on October the 7th. That was a grotesque terror attack,” declared Morgan.
Morgan eventually asked, “Do you think what happened October the 7th was a terror attack?”
“If anybody did that —” said Shaida, casting doubt about the violence being committed by Hamas.
“What do you mean, ‘if’?” Morgan snapped.
“They literally broadcast it on their own streaming platforms! Hamas broadcast it merrily to the world. ‘Here’s us doing these terrible things.’ What do you mean, ‘if’?” shouted Morgan.
Shaida eventually conceded that 1,200 people had been killed on October 7th.
“By terrorists?” Morgan prompted.
Shaida insisted that people were killed “By people who were resisting an occupation,” not by terrorists.
“B——-,” said an angry Morgan.
“Have you not heard the adage: ‘One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter’?” asked Shaida.
“B——-,” Morgan repeated.
