The Red Cross scolded Israeli parents for seeking medication for their daughter, a hostage of Hamas, urging them to consider Palestinian suffering.

The parents were disappointed when the Red Cross refused to transfer the medication.

The story was shared by attorney Marina Medvin. (Trending: US State Unveils Controversial ‘Gender Neutral’ Laws)

The parents had hoped for assistance during a meeting with the Red Cross, but were left without new information.

“The parents of an Israeli being held hostage by Hamas were reprimanded by representatives of the Red Cross after they tried to ask the Red Cross to transfer prescription medication to their child,” Attorney Marina Medvin posted.

“The Red Cross told them they needed to ‘think about the Palestinian side. It’s hard for the Palestinians, they’re being bombed,’” Medvin added.

“The Red Cross did not agree to transfer the medication to the Israeli hostage!”

“We left there as we entered: without new information, without something new, and with disappointment,” the mother added.

“Doron Steinbrecher is a veterinarian nurse. She is 30 years old. She has been held captive for 63 days now without access to her prescription medication,” Medvin said.

Former hostages also wrote a letter to the Red Cross, describing the lack of medical treatment, food shortage, and unsanitary conditions during their captivity.

Israeli officials estimate over 130 hostages remain in Gaza, with their conditions unknown.
