Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly informed President Biden that Israel would take military action against Yemen’s Houthi movement if the United States did not.

This came after the group harassed Israeli and U.S. forces, attacked ships, and fired missiles and drones at Israel.

“Tzachin Hanegbi to Amit Segal Ben Caspit: Netanyahu informed Biden…- if you don’t act against the Hutus, we will act militarily,” N12News posted on X. (Trending: Elon Musk Condemns Arrest Of Jan 6 Protester)

The U.S. recently shot down Houthi drones in the Red Sea, and the Treasury Department imposed sanctions on individuals funding the Houthis.

The group’s actions are seen as support for Palestinians, while Israel views the attacks as Iranian terrorism affecting international maritime security.

“If Gaza does not receive the food and medicine it needs, all ships in the Red Sea bound for Israeli ports, regardless of their nationality, will become a target for our armed forces,” a Houthi military spokesperson stated.
