A group of over 40 White House interns have demanded President Joe Biden to work towards a permanent cease-fire between Israel and Hamas.

However, the letter, signed by “40+ White House & EOP Interns for Palestine,” is anonymous, lacking external support for its claims.

“We heed the voices of the American people and call on the Administration to demand a permanent ceasefire,” the letter read. (Trending: Elon Musk Condemns Arrest Of Jan 6 Protester)

“We are not the decision makers of today, but we aspire to be the leaders of tomorrow, and we will never forget how the pleas of the American people have been heard and thus far, ignored.”

NBC News reported on it, attributing the demand to multiple “interns” without evidence.

The letter, representing diverse backgrounds, was addressed to both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Biden’s recent stance supporting Israel contrasts with the interns’ demand.

The letter’s reception was largely dismissive, and it references historical Hamas charters calling for the destruction of Israel.
