The UN’s FAO is set to release a recommendation urging Americans to reduce meat consumption due to concerns over climate change.
However, there is debate as to whether this reduction would significantly impact global warming.
The UN’s report highlights their future plans, including a global code of conduct for the internet, environmental programs, and a commitment to limit human expansion. (Trending: Hunter Biden Indicted on 9 New Criminal Charges)
In a separate 2023 report, the FAO claimed “the livestock sector is responsible for 14.5% of all anthropogenic GHG emissions,” and therefore theorized that reducing the amount of meat consumed, would slow down climate change.
The Biden administration has expressed support for many of these UN goals, leading to concerns about the impact on economic prosperity and individual freedoms.
