House Republican leaders have launched a formal impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden, focusing on allegations of the Biden family’s foreign business dealings and the President’s involvement.
The inquiry centers on claims that the family received over $24 million from foreign sources and alleges President Biden’s direct involvement in these dealings.
The investigation also accuses the administration of obstructing the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden. (Trending: Hunter Biden Indicted on 9 New Criminal Charges)
“Joe Biden, as Vice President and/or President, abused his office of public trust by knowingly participating in a scheme to enrich himself or his family by giving foreign interests the impression that they would receive access to him and his office in exchange for payments to his family or him … As reviewed above, Joe Biden was called into business meetings,” wrote the lawmakers.
The impeachment inquiry aims to determine if President Biden has committed impeachable offenses and carries significant political risks.
Speaker Johnson criticizes the Biden Crime Family and demands the impeachment inquiry moves forward:
“Biden has lied at least 16 times about being involved in his family’s business schemes."
