During the fourth Republican debate, Chris Christie was booed after claiming that Donald Trump would be convicted of felonies before Election Day and would lose his right to vote.

He criticized his colleagues for supporting Trump and accused them of confirming lies told to the American people, claiming they were too timid to take on Trump.

“You all be heading to the polls to vote, and that’s something that Donald Trump will not be able to do because he will be convicted of felonies before then, and his right to vote will be taken away,” Christie said as he received boos. (Trending: Trump Announces Major Promise For 2024)

“You know, here’s the bottom line, you boo about it all you like,” he said, telling the audience they were ignoring reality.

“The bigger problem with it is they were confirming the lies he’s told to the American people,” he said, pressing that the crowd was “too timid to take on Trump.”

Christie’s statements were met with continual disapproval from the audience.
