A California city, Fresno, is planning to raise the Palestinian flag in solidarity with the Palestinian community and to honor lives lost in the Israel-Hamas war.
The flag-raising event is organized by City Councilmember Miguel Arias and is scheduled to take place at Eaton Plaza.
This follows similar actions in other cities, including North Andover and Worcester in Massachusetts. (Trending: Democrat Accused Of Blocking Release of Jeffrey Epstein Flight Logs)

The flag-raising is set to occur on city property designated for community flag-raising events, and it does not require approval from the City Council or city manager.
The move comes amid ongoing discussions regarding a new flag ordinance that would limit the flags flown at county facilities.
“Only the flags of the United States of America and the State of California shall be permitted to be flown on the official flagpoles of county facilities,” the ordinance reads.
