Suzanne Somers, known for her love of designer shoes, was buried in a pair of Timberland hiking boots that held special meaning for her.
Her husband, Alan Hamel, had customized the boots to represent their life together.

Somers said when she learned about her diagnosis, “This is not new territory for me.”
“I know how to put on my battle gear, and I’m a fighter,” proclaimed the actress.
She passed away from breast cancer and had previously fought the disease with both conventional and alternative treatments.
