A recent poll by Redfield and Wilton Strategies indicates that former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in six key states, with a third-party candidate named Robert F. Kennedy Jr. potentially impacting Biden’s support.
The poll suggests that RFK Jr. is drawing more support from Biden voters than Trump voters in several states.
These developments could significantly affect the 2024 election, especially in battleground states. (Trending: Tucker Reveals The Moment He Became A Full-Blown Trump Supporter)
“More Biden 2020 than Trump 2020 voters say they would vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. if he was a candidate in all six states polled,” Redfield and Wilton noted.
“In fact, more than twice as many Biden 2020 as Trump 2020 voters would vote for RFK Jr. in North Carolina (11 percent vs 5 percent) and Michigan (11 percent vs 4 percent).”
The poll also compares Biden’s performance against other potential Republican contenders.
However, it’s important to consider the potential volatility of the political landscape and the long time remaining until the election.
Nonetheless, the emergence of RFK Jr. as a third-party candidate poses a significant threat to the Democratic Party’s prospects.
